We get a lot of great questions about how things work around here.

From our farming practices to how we care for our animals. So I thought I’d share a few answers straight from the farm!

  • How do we train our dogs to protect our hens?

Answer : Our guard dogs come from a breeder in Montana, where they spend the first few months of their lives living among chickens. They grow up knowing the hens as part of their flock, and their natural instincts help keep predators away.

  • How do Wilcox Farms eggs get higher levels of Omega-3?

Answer: It all starts with what our hens eat. Their feed includes flaxseed and other nutritious grains that naturally boost the Omega-3 content in their eggs. Healthy hens mean healthier, tastier eggs for you.
